Hi. I'm blind and have been using an Iriver H10 20GB for over a year
with Rockbox and speech installed. I don't recall the prior release
version I had. Recently my h10 died and I bought a new one. I
installed Rockbox V3.3, first with the automatic installer, and then
manually. Both times, left me with 2 problems I didn't have before:

1. No matter what I do, the directory and file names on my h10 are
spoken in numbers such as "folder 1" or "file 1" I think I have all the
right settings.

2. It used to be that I would long press the select button over a
folder, and I got a play list menu with a number of insert options
including insert, insert next, insert shuffle, and others. Now, when I
long press the select button on a folder, I only get to play options:
insert next, and cue.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm considering manually
installing the previous version I had, of Rockbox, which I just checked
and it is: r15956-071219. As I'm writing this message, I'm wondering
whether I need to update the firmware version of Iriver, but if I'm
using Rockbox, the Iriver firmware version should be irrelevant,
shouldn't it? Thanks a lot for any answers, but also to the Rockbox
developers for their great work.
