dear list,

i was having the problem explained well in [1], where, upon establishing
a USB connection, the microsdhc card is not getting mounted due to the
sansa firmware's inability to recognize it. i am looking at the
response from Christopher Chaltain, in which he explains that if i am
using a current build of rockbox, the microsdhc should mount. i
installed r22175-090805 and the unit still boots into the sansa firmware
when i connect it via USB.

so, this was initially a help request, but, after some stroke of luck, i
found that the correct way to connect the device is to turn the unit on
so it's running rockbox, and then plug it in via USB. then the device's
internal memory and the microsdhc card are mounted, and all is well.

i couldn't readily find this exact procedure while searching for
microsdhc and sansa issues. perhaps it's right there in the manual
under some other keywords, so i hope this can serve as some sort of
additional documentation.

i went back to the stable 3.3 release, and that is also working all
right. the usb stack is wonderful, it mounts very quickly!
