Hey all,
With the introduction of the skinnable "statusbar" (kudos kugel :) )
its time to retire the old boring statusbar which has served us so
well for the last 7 years!
There is no real time line with this... it might be the end of the
week, or two months... who knows... but either way, this is a warning
that the internal fallback statusbar is going to be a fair bit uglier
than the current one (think the inbuilt WPS compared to the cabbie
theme).

I'm not too worried about annoying people because the cabbie theme
disables it anyway (and going by the themes site, so do almost all
themes), my only concern is the fm and recording screens arnt yet
skinable so there will be some information loss on the display. fm
skin is On The Way (TM) but I dont belive there are any plans to skin
the rec screen?

So, is the information in those two screens' statusbars crucial? will
people go bat shit crazy if its gone?

Also, if you do actually use the current statusbar because you like
it, feel free to create the proper .sbs for it (using images from
bitmaps) and it will be added to svn...


below is the .sbs I'm working on for the hardcoded default (fixing for
non RTC and narrow screens as required)... if someone comes up with
something better please reply :)
