I wonder what voice that is. Can you describe what you have selected in rbutil to show this ? > So, is there a known compadibility issue with rockbox and mac voices on > snow leopard? Rockbox utility supports a series of tts systems (espeak, flite, swift, sapi voices only on windows, festival only on linux). But noone got around to code support for the macos-specifc voicesystem. And as we dont have any rbutil developers with direct access to a mac, its hard todo. There is also a patch in the Tracker to support open-sapi witch should bring sapi5 based voices to all OS with Wine and ofcourse windows too. But that patch is still not really ready. So for now your only chance is to somehow get espeak, flite or swift installed, or prehaps try with windows in a VM. greets ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html Received on 2009-11-06 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
