Rockbox does not have a tts engine - the tts engine is on your pc (your pc
generates the voice files and the spoken words are what is transferred onto
your device). All devices should be compatible with the voice format, which
knows nothing about the tts engine you used to generate them. Maybe
something has changed on your pc since the time you created the voice files
for your fuze, or maybe you haven't recreated the voice files for your e280,
or perhaps haven't turned on the rockbox setting to speak anything other
than your Files.
