I found what the problem with those 4GB Transcend cards is, but I still didn't add the necessary code to make the card work after USB (aka tell the user that he has to pull & re-plug it - it's a card firmware problem, nothing we can solve for real). Other than that, MMCs just work fine in my Ondio SP and FM, as well as pixelma's Ondio FM. 128MB (CnMemory), 256MB (Transcend), 1GB (Transcend), 2GB (Magu), 4GB (A-Data), 4GB (Kingston) all work as expected. They do so in any release of Rockbox for Ondio, as well as current SVN. The 4GB Transcend also works since SVN r18515 (release 3.0 or maybe 3.0.1), except when plugged at boot, or directly after USB. So there are some questions to you two: - What card type/ brand are you having problems with? - Does the card work when hot plugged? - What's your hardware mask? System->Debug->View HW Info, Mask: __ - Does System->Debug->View disk info find the MMC (when hot plugged)? You have to press RIGHT so it shows [MMC 1] at the top - [MMC 0] is the built-in storage. If it does show real values, please include them Regards, Jens ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.html Received on 2010-06-29 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
