Hmm? I didn't say anything about SD cards here. These are all MMCs.
Of course you cannot fit a standard SD into the Ondio's slot. You could
use a so called "thin SD", but these are obviously rare beasts.

Since this is an older card, I wouldn't expect problems.

USB is different, because the card is handed over to the USB-MMC bridge

Just the mask is sufficient... and hardware info doesn't change with
Rockbox version ;)

But this is the key hint. This mask means your Ondio has the old MMC
clock circuit. Obviously the handling in Rockbox for this got broken
between 2.5 and 3.0. Unfortunately I do not yet know in what way, and I
don't have such a device to test on. Would you be willing to try test
builds if I provide some?
