To replace the ipod hard drive with a solid state drive, you would need to
make sure you buy one (or buy an adapter) to interface it with the zif-40
cable used on the ipod video harddrive. Some rockbox users have done this
successfully with compactflash cards and appropriate adapters, for a
moderate increase in battery life.
