I've had a second hand sansa e260 for around 3 years. A few times it has
frozen and wouldn't turn back on no matter what I did. I don't know why but
the tried and tested method of removing the battery, waiting for a minute
then replacing it seemed to fix it perfectly. I don't know if it will help
for you but if no one else has a working suggestion you could try it.
(really easy just unscrew the backplate and the removable battery is just
sitting there)
