Am i correct? Since you have the larger backing already, with the 80GB, i believe all you need to do is swap out the drives and restore the iPod and you're ready to go. I am not 100% sure if the model # i stated before is the compatible drive but a little research should verify that for you. I know there are 2 240GB drives that have been installed on iPods successfully from what i've read: One is only 5mm thick so it fits perfectly in the 30GB model Video, and the other is 8mm thick which will fit snugly in the 60Gb and larger model Videos.
