If you connect it to the computer while the ipod is off but with the hold switch on it will boot the Apple firmware; if you connect it to the computer while the hold switch is off it will boot Rockbox. Plugging in the USB cable just turns on the power, the same as pressing select; the bootloader doesn't check *why* the device got powered on, it just looks at the hold switch to see which firmware to boot. -- Torne Wuff torne_at_wolfpuppy.org.uk ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.htmlReceived on 2011-02-24 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
