if a nice guy from this list could replace the 80 Gig in my ipodvideo
with a 240 GB drive, I would gladly pay for the service, incl. postage.
. I'm blind so of course I can't do this myself.

Being Blind does not mean that you cannot do this.
There may not be any soldering to do in this job, but even if there were,
some Blind folks do that too.
I agree that you may not have the expertise for this job, but you should not
suggest that it is because of your Blindness.
