It's not a question of builds (the version of the software), it's a question of ports (making it work on specific hardware). http://www.rockbox.org/ lists "Stable ports" - all the players listed there will run the fully functional stable version of Rockbox. It also lists "unstable ports", which means Rockbox will run on the machines listed in that section, but functionality may be incomplete, less usable or have some problems. Finally there are "unusable ports" which means that someone has started getting Rockbox to work on the devices, but it's far from functional or usable on them, and much work remains to be done before they can be considered useful devices to run Rockbox on. Finding a player in production that Rockbox runs on is a difficult matter, mainly because the manufacturers don't tell Rockbox when they are dropping (or have dropped) a given model, but also partly just because "no longer in production" doesn't mean you can't buy it in the shops - stocks can take quite some time to run out, and this also varies between different countries. Bear in mnd that it's very difficult for the Rockbox team to get Rockbox running on a production player, because the length of time it takes to port Rockbox to a new device can easily be longer than the production lifetime of that particular model. What is your reason for specifically wanting a player that is currently in production? Regards, Antony. -- Users don't know what they want until they see what they get.
