The iPod Classic is still considered an "Unusable" port at this point
in time, while the iPod
Video port is considered "Stable".

That doesn't mean that you can't *use* the iPod Classic port, but it's
going to take a little more
knack for tinkering around with some specialized software tools to get
it installed and running.
The iPod Video, by contrast, can easily be installed in a few clicks
using Rockbox Utility.

While Rockbox runs pretty well on the Classic and has come a long way
since it was first
released into the wild, it still needs a lot of work to be done before
it can even move up a tier
to "Unusable".

And as always, the front page of the Rockbox site will always show you
the three tiers that
each port falls under.
