Okay, I'm doing this slow and trying to do it right, but I want to ask you
what is probably a simple question to you -
With the .rockbox software already on my clip zip, the first item to do is:

I. Download the Original Sansa Firmware

http://mp3support.sandisk.com/firmware/clipzip/clipzip01.01.18.zip

-Forgive the numb question, but I installed the clip zip software from the
little disk that came with it, if I do this download, will it over write
what is there, or will I just be messing things up by doing it again?

I mean, what I loaded from the mini disk is the same thing as what item #I
above says to download and install, right?

I have downloaded the Bootloader and

and mkamsboot and both are now on the clip zip.

I have stopped at this point though because I wanted to know about the #I
download noted above.

Ross
