Hi William,

 

This is awesome!

 

I downloaded the new Rockbox Utility and installed it and this time, when I
restarted the player, it came up talking!

 

My next question is: How to I make Rockbox use the good sounding Acapella
voices I have on my computer instead of the one that came with the Rockbox
after installation? I am not complaining about what Rockbox has in terms of
voice, but I think if I am able to take advantage of the great sounding
voices on my computer, that would be even weeter.

 

I use Windows XP for dealing with the Rockbox because when I first tried it
on my 64bit Windows 7 machine, it kept crashing.

 

I don't know what the time difference is between you and I, but I live in
the State of Washing and thus on Pacific time zone. If you live within the
US and have a number I can reach you on, you can give it to me offline and
I'll give you a call when it is convenient for you.

if you could give more details it would be helpful, such as:

 

are you running Mac OS, Linux of some sort, or Windows?

what happened when you "tried"?

 

if you want, i could do an install over remote desktop or walk you through
it over chat.
