   OK, here it goes, follow this route:
Settings
General Settings
Voice
   Inside the voice menu check the following:
Voice Directories (set to spell)
Use Directory.talk clips (set to yes)
Voice Filenames (set to spell or numbers)
Use file.talk clips (depending on your preference)
   You can also check the "announce battery level".
   I hope this helps and gets you somewhere.
