Installing Rockbox is not much harder then installing the original firmware. So if you have to downgrade your device just see if the new original firmware works as expected. The vendor describes how it goes: Sansa Clip Zip Firmware 01.01.18 http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Sansa-Clip-Zip/Sansa-Clip-Zip-Firmware-01-01-18/m-p/254122/highlight/true#M1361 Sansa Clip Zip Firmware 01.01.20 http://forums.sandisk.com/t5/Sansa-Clip-Zip/Sansa-Clip-Zip-Firmware-01-01-20/m-p/270703/highlight/true#M2531 Unless you've never worked with the 'command prompt' then that's another barrier when installing Rockbox manually. Unfortunately, people should therefore turn to use the graphical installer. And I recommend to use the graphical program. If you run into trouble with that procedure, I don't have nice ideas. -- Kind regards, Manuel ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe: http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.htmlReceived on 2013-12-11 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
