Subject: Combining two directories into one?

I have been using my Sansa Clip+ for some time (more than three years) with no problems.  Previously the database had some 650 tracks, 420 on the player and 230 on the 32GB microSDHC (these are larger tracks).  I downloaded some new tracks yesterday and have re-initialised the database.  It found 680 files -  what I expected.  But when I go to Resume Playback, I see that the total file number is only 420.  If I go to Files and open a file on my 32GB drive, then  I can play all the files on this drive - the remaining 260 - randomly.  So it looks as if i have two separate databases/playlists.  I guess I must have pushed some button or other to get this result.  How can I get the Resume Playback screen to show 680 files (i.e. all on my player plus the 32GB drive) and play all of them (it is set to random play)?  I should say that I can go to all individual files on both directories and they all play perfectly so there is no problem with the 32GB card.

Thanks for any help
