Hi,

I have tried this and it worked perfectly.  I now have 689 tracks according to the number when i now go to Now Playing.

Many thanks

Resume Playback returns you to the last playlist. New tracks aren't added
automatically.

That's the way it's supposed to work. Each directory comprises a separate
playlist. Once a dynamic playlist is initialized by starting playback in
a given directory, it's up to you to add other playlists (including
directories) to it if that's what you want.

So, you might start the ball rolling by playing something on internal
storage. Then, long press <microSD1> (or whatever the SD mountpoint is
called), select Current Playlist, and select one of the insert or queue
options.

I presume you could accomplish the same thing via the database (maybe just
something like "play all tracks"). I've never actually used the database
as Rockbox doesn't require it and neither do I.
