My Cowon D2 has had unstable status for ever and yet has been working 99.9999% flawlessly with any rb version I've installed so far (didn't bother upgrading for years though). I suspect that it's the same with the Fuze also that if you manually install 3.14 instead of developper version it won't be more "unstable".

By the way why not use the Fuze in the bath and keep the e260 away from moisture so that it will last longer ? One day one way or another (sockets, buttons or battery) your zip will die I'm afraid and if you don't find a "new" one, you'll be glad to switch to your good old e260 !

 Hello.

 Thank you for Rockbox 3.14!

I installed Rockbox 3.14 to Sansa Clip
Zip and Sansa e260v1. I also installed
developer version to Sansa Fuze –
Rockbox Utility reports it as still unstable
and does not offer a 3.14 stable
 release.

 Installed worked flawlessly with
Rockbox Utility 1.4. It seems that 3.14 fixes
USB issues on e260v1 (those with that
"abort" message). Also on Clip Zip I had
a devel release that didn´t always
boot. As far as I tried it now always
boots. I don´t use the Fuze a lot,
cause its Smartphone like touch screen
handling is very error prone to use in
 darkness.

With the e260v1 and head phones I hear
audio glitches rarely. Clip Zip and
 Fuze have nice audio playback.
Currently I prefer Clip Zip the most. This is
the one I take with me all the time and
would happily buy another one of it if
still possible for a reasonable price.
I use the e260v1 together with JBL
Pebbles speakers when I take a bath.
There I do not hear any audio glitches.
Maybe these are gone with 3.14. May try
again. Cause from handling the e260v1
 is just fine.

 Thanks,

 Martin
