Meino,

Everything Rockbox needs is kept in the “.rockbox” directory. I’m pretty sure you can delete everything else on the internal storage.

IIRC, if you boot into the Sandisk firmware, it will recreate several directories on the internal storage for placing music.

Hi,

I think I have to tidy up my player a litte bit (or more).

What I want is a clean "rockbox only" Sansa Clip Zip with everything
rockbox related on the internal flash and everything media related
on the sdcard.

But I fear to delete something important or something which is
user by rokcbox internally.

Is there any information of the basic filesystem layout of a
rockbox player, which is used by/with rockbox only?
