A Cowon D2 in good condition could be an option. Officially it's not stable but I have been using mine with rockbox and crashes are very rare.
It is about the size of half a pack bf cigarettes, it has button and touch screen controls with a lock button.
It is vey well made and robust, mine is about 12 years old and I probably used about 5 full years.
Finally it's easy to open the battery can be replaced by anyone who can use a solder.
I have not used the voice controls (not blind sorry) but I guess someone has and can give his opinion here.

 Hi Jean,
Thank you for your answer.
It is a shame that we cannot wear RockBox on the Sansa Clip Jam.
In summary, if I understand the majority
MP3 players to come or which are released on the market are not and will not be
RockBox compatible?., It is a pity because RockBox is a great tool for us blind
person!
Could you indicate me a MP3 player model which would be compatible
with RockBox ?
Are you aware of MP3 player on Android which is compatible with RockBox ?
If yes, could you give me some information ?
Regards.
