IIRC the database is always "enabled" but unless the physical files are
on disk it does nothing. By default, database creation is not automatic
and must be initiated by the user.

To remove the database, remove .rockbox/database*.tcd

It's probably safest if you do that in the bootloader or OF USB mode
rather than from within the main rockbox firmware itself.
