The Hosts file trick can be used always: for Linux/mac the file location is
/etc/hosts
Otherwise
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Add a line:

64.238.189.241 rockbox.org www.rockbox.org

And then as long as the hosting IP does not change, regardless of dns
working, your computer can continue to access the site as normal.

Fwiw right now the domain resolved fine with Comcast's DNS as well. I
wonder if the transient error has now passed.
