The short answer is that touchscreen-only models have (very) poor
accessibility, and there's nothing rockbox can do to improve that.

Now some players with touchscreens (or touchpads) also have dedicated
buttons for some functions (such as playback control) but that doesn't
help when you need to navigate the UI.

We've talked about implenting a quasi-dedicated virtual button area on
touchscreen devices, but that only exists in our heads at the moment,
and even when implemented there still won't be any physical way to be
sure you're in the right place.

(Suffice it to say that I'm not a fan of touchscreen/touchpad interfaces
either, and have no intention of ever buying one)
