I'm not aware of anyone active that has access to a dx50 or dx90, and I
know nothing of the dx50/dx90 installation procedure beyond what's
documetned in our wiki.. So there's little that I can do to directly
assist you. That said, here are some general questions/pointers.

 * What version of rockbox did you install on the dx50/dx90?
 * How did you obtain/create the .voice file? It needs to correspond to
   the rockbox build you're using.

I'd recommend that you use the latest nightly build (and corresponding
voice file) for the dx50 and dx90, downloadable here:
