Hello everyone.
I just wanted to write in real quick to let you all know that I
figured out what the deal was with the Dx50. It was simply a matter of
me thinking I had the modified firmware with the bootloader, but
instead it was just the official firmware from Ibasso.
Really enjoying it so far.
Now that I have both the Dx50 and 90 to do a side-by-side comparison,
I notice the 50 seems to be a lot smoother overall. Playing songs on
the Dx90 there's what sounds like audio clipping for a few seconds at
the beginnings of songs. Sometimes pressing the keys to navigate back
and forth through menu items behaves unexpectedly.
By that I mean sometimes I hit the button on the far right to go to
the next item in a menu and it will either jump me to the end of
whatever menu, or I'll end up at the previous item instead.
Overall however, I am very satisfied. Thanks again to the dev team for
sticking with it even though the majority of people today seem to want
to use their phone to play music and whichever Bluetooth earbuds are
in style.
