Honestly, as far as I like Rockbox, and as far as accessibility is concerned, An used Iphone with 256 GB memory and a wired 24 Bits DAC with proper app would give much more pleasure to deal with than the Rockbox spoken interface which is outdated anyway. Just think about it. The main question is what form factor do you need -- The T6 is pretty tiny, and all of the readily-available alternatives are larger. The various EROSQ/K clones are plentiful (and new). On the used market it's nearly impossible to go wrong with an old "classic-style" iPod, as there's a healthy aftermarket for replacement parts and you can also replace their hard drives with flash. The old Sansa units (eg Fuze, Fuze+, clips) too, and as long as you get one that can use an SD card as the onboard flash is known to wear out. - Solomon -- Solomon Peachy                                                 pizza at shaftnet dot org (email&xmpp)                                      _at_pizza:shaftnet dot org  (matrix) Dowling Park, FL                     speachy (libra.chat) -- Unsubscribe: http://lists.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rockbox FAQ: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/GeneralFAQ Etiquette: http://www.rockbox.org/mail/etiquette.htmlReceived on 2023-05-31 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
