Hello.

 

A few years ago I purchased a DX50. I'd had an Agptek Rocker for a while and
I wanted to try a player with a few more features.

Recently the player headphone jack got loose. I got another one from Amazon
and I can't now seem to get Rockbox to install properly.

Could anyone suggest next steps?

I had to dig back through some pretty old forum posts on the head-fi.org
website but I found what is supposed to be the latest release of the DX50
firmware along with the loader for Rockbox.

I installed Rockbox after a sighted friend helped me go through the firmware
update process, deleted the update file and then tried to turn on the device
with the hold switch up and hitting the furthest right button, but it didn't
work.
