If you are willing to. Take apart the iPod and replace the hard drive with a SSD or an SD to HDD adapter.

Subject: Installing Rock box to my iPod Classic 6th G and it won't turn back on

Yesterday, I tried to install Rockbox 4.0 on my Ipod Classic 6th Gen 80GB, and after trying to install it, it didn't work, and my ipod wont turn back on even if I hold MENU+SELECT to reset or turn it back on. My PC makes that noise when I plug it in, even the Apple Mobile Device USB Device pops up but does not show me the IPod. When i boot up ITunes, it detects the ipod and tries to do the recovery, but ends up saying Error (1675) meaning my hard drive is not working, i been trying to fix my ipod for 2 days straight!!!!! I NEED HELP!!!!!
