Let me clarify something here, Kevin.

You adding to or changing an existing file _does not_ make you an additional
copyright holder of the file. The original copyright holder still holds the
copyright of the file even if you've changed it.

If everyone who changed the files would add themselves to the copyright lines
as you have, it would quicky become rather silly.
