If you have something like
/podcast/new/Mona Lisa Breakfast Show/
/podcast/new/Saturn Politics/
/podcast/new/...
things are a little different.

BTW: I am very used to the directory skip function of the Iriver IMP
CD-Players as I used that quite often. It definatly made sense there,
as the amount of folders is quite small and you never have to look on
the remote when you know your CDs.

It`s also useful with the incoming directories for new and never heard
podcast channels. With a 1000++ folders artist directory structure you
certainly will navigate most of the time via the browser. If you can
reach your Rockbox device ;-)

Directory skip on the Iriver IMP can also be activated by the sequence
"Short FF/RW" directly follow by "Long FF/RW". It`s quite useful
unless you have a remote with enough buttons you do not need for
something else. Maybe an interesing option for rockbox for systems
lacking the extra buttons or if not using the remote.

And don`t forget Rule #12: There are never enough buttons on any
remote or main unit.
