Date: Sat, 25 Mar 2006 09:17:32 -0500 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello all, I've just installed a Rockbox daily build on my iriver H340 and so far I'm quite pleased. I'd like to start making my own builds with the eventual goal of being able to contribute some code to the project. To that end, I've checked out a copy of CVS HEAD. However, I'm having trouble compiling. The README doesn't really describe all the dependencies, so I'm hoping someone here can help me track everything down. I'm running Ubuntu Linux 5.10 (Breezy Badger), and when I run the configure script I get the following: Normal build selected ../tools/configure: line 1019: m68k-elf-gcc: command not found WARNING: The compiler you must use (m68k-elf-gcc) is not in your path! WARNING: this may cause your build to fail since we cannot do the WARNING: checks we want now. Created Makefile I cannot find a gcc for m68k anywhere in the Ubuntu repositories. Does anyone know where I can track it down? Also, what other dependencies are there that I haven't yet run into, and where might I find them? Thanks for any help you can provide.
