RE: Remove PluginJewels from RockBox downloads immediately

Maybe add to the wiki and the manual a small-print notice that says
"this game was NOT developed, published, or officially licensed by by PopCap
Games"

As to fulfill Dave's real request:
> The important thing here is that PopCap Games does not want any confusion
in the market as to whether the game was developed, published, or officially
licensed by by PopCap Games. This current situation with the gem graphics as
shown on Rockbox.com only perpetuates this confusion.

(IANAL, etc.)
R.

P.S.
Am I the only one finding his confusion between dot com and dot org domains
funny?

Imho, a modification of the images at this point _may_ (and could) be
interpreted as a tacit acknowledgement of plagiarism or infringement of
copyright by PopCap - of which we all know there is none! - but the problem
is that this then might be used as possible ammunition that there has indeed
been some infringement of copyright. This would only serve to weaken
RockBox's case, even though they're already on pretty solid ground on this
one.

I suppose what I'm trying to say in not so many words is don't bother (imo),
it serves no truly useful purpose past the short term, and could be
misconstrued as a sign of guilt if referenced to in the future.

This sounds like a very reasonabe idea that should make them unique beyond a
doubt but still keep the good gem designs intact.
