For actual dev-work, almost definitely here. You're also much more likely to
get a good answer to technical questions, in general.

The forums are, for the most part, support, further discussion of bugs, and
WPS discussion. It's also where people frequently suggest and discuss new
ideas (and can be a good place to fish for support) but overall not remotely
the same purpose as this mailing list.
