I made a patch for the Irivers which includes this functionality (my
patch lets you customize actions for the Record button, which isn't
used on the irivers right now). I don't know Archos, but if you have a
spare button, it should be easy for you to add an archos button
definition to my patch. it is in FS #5555.
But my patch does more than you probably want, if you only want the
playlist thing it should be easier to do it on your own.
