New units can be given a more attractive UI and the Player could potentially equally be made easier to code for too by removing the bitmap display code etc. My only questions are: - Are there no parts of the system that still could benefit from beeing maintained for all versions or is backporting the easiest way to go? - Would a daily build, webbpages, documentation etc for the Player _branch_ still be within the scope of the RockBox project?
