>From what I understand, the initial conversion is not trivial. You could
set up a post-commit hook in CVS that propagates the changeset to the
svn repo (at least in theory) however I'm not sure how difficult that
would be. Daniel's plan seems simpler/less likely to break horribly.

I'm just glad rockbox is moving to svn, regardless of how the changeover
is done.
