As for the rest of the message.. what the heck are you talking about?
The + is used to show that he item "expands" to another set of items..
and the only way this is done in rockbox is by showing it all in a new
screen..

I dont tihnk anyone could be confused. fwiw, we did try an arrow, but
that looked bad
