After talking with a few people, I feel comfortable enough to set the date
in stone.

The dates will be June 15th to the 17th. If you have an issue with this,
contact me IMMEDIATELY. Also, there are a few who would like to turn this
into a bit more of a vacation and are staying a bit longer that the 17th.
If this appeals to you, let me know as well so I can adjust accordingly and
plan for things.

The hotel will be The Signature at MGM Grand. I found a place online where
I can get the suites for much cheaper (vacation rentals by owner), so I am
looking at getting a 2 bedroom suite just because it would be more cost
effective this way. See info about the room here:
http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com/Suites/Two-Bedrooms.aspx . It is a junior
suite and a one-bedroom suite smashed together basically. This means there
are 2 king beds and 2 queen pull out sofa beds plus floor space. If you are
interested in coming and staying with us in the suite, please contact me as
soon as you can. I expect to have at least 8 people staying in the room,
possibly even more with 2 per bed (it really isn't too bad as long as the
beds aren't double ;). As I said before, it is likely the cheapest option
with around $100-ish for 2 nights per person. Keep in mind this number is
based on 8 people and I have not received the final quote yet. Don't be shy
about mailing me about getting a spot here.

About the hotel:
It is not the typical hotel on the strip. It is off strip. To get to the
strip, there is about 4 min of walking (which our euro friends will laugh at
us if we think that is far) through either the front gate and around the
property, or through an enclosed moving walkway to the MGM Grand. We have
our own pools plus access to the MGM Grand's. There is no smoking, although
there is a balcony (if you are nice about it and relatively covert, I might
allow you to smoke on the balcony). The facility is gated and is valet
parking only (although you can park in the MGM Grand's parking lot and walk
a bit). It has a Starbucks and a deli type place in the lobby. It has a
full kitchen, so I might just go get some supplies and cook us some stuff on
some days so we don't always have to go out and pay $5 for a bruised apple.
It is really quite a nice place.

I have put up a new section on the wiki page entitled "Room Sharing". This
is to be used as a tool for finding others to stay with you. If you already
have a room and would like for another to stay, just put that you are
looking for another in an additional bullet below your entry. I would
recommend that you not purchase a room until the suite is filled up, though.
As I said before, the MGM Grand would be the best place to stay, as it is
only a moving walkway away from the Signature. Alternatively, you can go

getting a junior suite at the Signature on the cheap.
