Audio dropout and cosmetic issues on iPod nano

Hey list,

Just informing developers, and wondering if these are known issues (or if
this is pure operator error...):

Since build r13396-070515, I have been experiencing an intermittent audio
dropout at the beginning of tracks. All of my audio files are OGG Vorbis,
variable bitrate, average 256kb/s. I start the track, it starts playing
almost instantaneously, and within 5-10 seconds, the player acts as if it
was paused, the disk activity icon appears, and it stays in this state for
about 2-3 seconds, then continues playing as if nothing happened. I had
never seen this happen on earlier builds. It is not an easily reproducible
error. I am wondering if there is a "prebuffer"-type setting I'm missing--it
seems like the player would be in good shape if it buffered a nice amount of
data before starting playback.

Also, on a less serious note, I noticed icons do not show up correctly after
changing colors. I prefer, instead of black text on a gray background, white
text on a black background. As soon as I set this up, the (black) icons next
to "Files", "Settings", etc. all disappear. I miss them...:-) If I'm not
mistaken, they changed to a color that contrasted with the background in
earlier builds, and they don't seem to now.

They are probably mistakes on my part, but just in case they're not...
