I think customizable keymap is a good feature, and should not be left alone
as a patch.

A useful feature that only exists in a patch will, for certain, be included
in some unofficial build.
Even though it is written in 48pt font all over the place that unofficial
builds are unsupported, you'd get tons of questions about it anyway.
