Subject: lack of responsiveness

lack of responsiveness

Hi,

my first post on the dev list, but I think that problem is regarding you:

There is a lack of responsiveness when skipping songs. I'm listening
music, press next key and the hdd have to start up. The old songs is
still playing. I've no info what happens, so I press next button again. I
think this is quite confusing. Maybe you can add, that pressing the next
button first of all stopps the current running song (only if
crossfade is disabled) and then loading the new one, so one get to know
that rockbox recognises the keypress. Then a message woult be nice
lice "spinning up hdd" or something like this.

Just a suggestion to make it more convenient.

I've an iaudio X5, don't know if it's important.

bye

David
