i get a smiler problem on my 60G, it will show the Battery and Exclamation
mark logo, even when i know there is still plenty of juice in there! Problem
been happening for about 10 months now (since i let my battery drain)

Workaround, Hold "Menu" and the Centre button till the iPod reboots, it
should work then

still haven't figured out why it does this, could be iPod overreacting to
the fact it was in deep sleep mode (im guessing it thinks "Why was i in deep
sleep mode.... hmm must be the battery!")
