The MK8007GAH is no longer produced. The currently available drive is
the MK8009GAH and this is, as Linus said, currently not supported by
rockbox on any other platform than the IPod 5, because of the 1kb
block size.

So, the misunderstanding results from a different context. Of course
rockbox supports any drive size far beyond 60GB, if the drive uses
512Byte blocks. But in the context of currently produced and available
drives, no such drive seem to exist beyond 60GB.
