You are talking about a fork. Do you really want to do this?

SVN will allow you to do both. If you are serious, you might consider
setting up a Linux machine, alongside you Windows machine, and running
the server form that. It doesn't have to be done that way, but it may
be more practical. You don't need a state of the art machine to do this.
