You have to write your own bootloader and inject it to the original firmware file (of course that means that you will have to figure the structure of the firmware file) - then flash the modified firmware file using the player's internal way. Ideally the bootloader should be minimal and be able to dual boot either the original firmware or Rockbox from CF.
