i no i'm probably shooting myself in the foot hear, but I can see one
problem with that, and that is of course that audio playback and voice don't
get along too well when the voice tries to speak when the audio is playing.
perhaps a solution for this could be that the player could automatically
pause the file you were listening to, say the voice message and then resume
playback.
another idea could be though to make the snooze function an optional setting
like a yes no option to enable or disable it, so people could chose to have
the ability to override the sleep timer or not as they wish.
personally i'd still like a beep warning before shut down, but that could be
another setting, so you could chose if you wanted to be notified by beep or
voice message.
