I think preserving the way the quickscreen currently works (this applies
to the "making it a list with more options" as well) is probably a
better idea.

Among other things, some targets with enough buttons currently allow you
to exit the screen with the button that would be the obvious choice for
the fourth option, so you'd be demanding a change in user behaviour to
add a fourth option. And if you changed it in the list it would change
it from "unlikely the old behaviour (being able to hold a button, change
settings, and release the button) will return" to "impossible for it to
return." Having the quickscreen even quicker, and getting that back,
would be quite nice. Personally I'd rather see that than
customizability, but as long as the customizability doesn't make its
return impossible, I don't mind too much.
